Portugal is one of the oldest countries in Europe and is an extremely popular tourist destination for villa holidays. It is a beautiful country with stunning scenery and many tourists flock back there year after year.

In my capacity as the UK Director of Operations for One World Tours Limited, I am often asked about the destinations I have been to so that is why I try to give a good opinion on those places. Here then, are my top suggestions for sites to take in during your holiday in the Croatia.

Hostels are generally fantastic places to be. The people who are there are passionate about travelling, there is lots of camaraderie and a strong sense of community between travellers. It is in the hostel, not a guidebook that you will found out the best places to go, great places to get discounts at and loads of other tips about what is worth the money and what isn’t.

Getting to know each other and intercultural meetings are motivating again and again not only grades, groups of children and young people, but also families, seminar organizers and many interested single travelers to consciously experience their spare time in a youth hostel.

Take a Lisbon holiday and find a spectacular, eccentric but peaceful city. Its central squares are tidy and welcoming. The city is a modern labyrinth of streets and 18th-century history. With the wealth of Lisbon accommodation available there is something to suit everyone.

Serving as a bridge between the East and West, Poland lies in the heart of Europe. It is with both modern and rustic charm. In this multifaceted country, you will get both advanced and medieval towns where you can see the horse-drawn carts negotiating the lanes with motor vehicles—some of the areas are still intact from progress drive.

Only a quick glance on map of Norway and you get the idea about where do the splendors in the country exist? Norway is famous for its fjords and coastlines. Long stretches of coastlines in the country are fantastic places to spend a great time.

Take a weekend break in Prague a find a stunning city largely undamaged by WWII. Its medieval centre is a maze of cobbled lanes, ancient courtyards, dark passages and churches overlooked by an 1100 year-old castle. Although under communism for 40 years, Breaks to Prague have now become one of Europe's most popular city breaks.
