The Penang Butterfly Park is just minutes away from the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park; the park is constructed like a miniature rainforest in the middle of the city of Kuala Lumpur and houses about 120 different species of butterfly and about 15,000 plants of different varieties. Fernando de Magallanes discovered this lands years ago baptizing its channel as the Straits of Magellan.



Even today, there are only two ways to reach the valley. The first is by hiking for a month or so through tangled jungles, across coarse grassy valleys. and over snow-capped peaks before reaching the other world, a cultivated green valley, inhabited by the Dani tribe, deep in the mountains Alternatively, you could 17y in, landing on the airstrip near Wamena, the main of Balliem Valley.



Zanzibar is not really about the island itself. Although the Island has a lot to offer with the spice trade, a long rich history and natural forests with unique flora and fauna. This Spice Island was discovered by Arab traders in the 8th century and has supplied the world with aromatic spices like cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg ever since.



This park is 100km north of Dar es Salaam. Saadani is where the bush meets the sea. This colorful clash of ecosystems is found nowhere else along the coast of East Africa. Imagine: this is the place where the hippopotamus compete with coral reefs, lions roar at the surf and baboons race along the beach. Elephants have even been spotted enjoying the surf.
