The many different national parks provide people and the animals that live in these parks with a natural environment in which they can exist without any problems. You will find that as most of these parks are quite large they have different services. The various national park vacations are ones that help people move around the park and enjoy their time.
An easy two hour drive south west from Darwin brings you to the expansive majesty of the Litchfield National Park. Closer and simpler to reach it is still often shunned in favour of the more well known Kakadu National Park, but word is spreading and more and more people are pouring in to visit its bizarre geological structures and powerful waterfalls.

Denali national Park lies in the heart of a curved mountain chain about 600 miles long, the Alaska Range. In the McKinley massif area, the range is about six miles wide and is aligned generally northeast to southwest. This is the highest part of the range with many peaks over 10,000 feet high. Elsewhere in the range, the mountains are mostly between 7000 to 9000 feet high.
Well, if you have come this far you will be delighted to hear that Chobe National Park is not only the second largest national park in Botswana but also has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Mikumi National Park is the gateway to the game parks on the southern part of Tanzanian safari circuit. The lovely remote Ruaha National Park is a four hour drive south-west from Mikumi.
Arusha National Park is only a few Kilometers from Arusha and is a small but beautiful park set in the shadow of Mount Meru. There is a sting of lakes in this park and canoeing has recently been added to the tourist activities in this park.
South Africa has dedicated more than three million hectares of its total land mass to the conservation of its natural heritage. You will see a great variety of habitats and wildlife when you visit these amazing sites.
This park is one of Europe's largest fluvial wetlands, and a wondrous gift from Nature. This area of 1,300 sq. kilometers was declared a national park in 1969, and UNESCO declared it a Biosphere Reserve in 1971. It was then named a Human Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
