A review of tourist tendencies turned out that Florida regained the status of the most popular resort in US, after a year of being on the second place obtained in the result of hurricanes.

Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, the central company in marketing and survey of journeys on the territory of Florida announced that about one third of all travellers would like to visit Florida during the next two years. Last year the most desirable place to visit was California.

"This is very good news for Florida, said the chairman of Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell Peter Yesawich. The calamity from hurricane is quickly forgotten and it is a good confirmation of that".

In the National Questionnaire of Voyages and Entertainment carried out in 2007, 1 882 travellers were interrogated. This illustrates a nation ready and willing to travel. Last year six out of ten Americans had moved anywhere at least 75 miles away and remained there for night. The review showed that the lack of money does not bother Americans any more: the familial budget became not the second reason but the third important reason not to travel.

One third of the interrogated persons said that they planned to undertake more voyages than the last year, 26% said that they would travel less than the previous year.

Short rambles, i.e. trips for less than 4 nights remains the most popular among Americans. This certifies that they have little time for recreation.

"The leave of average American comprises 14 days, says Yesawich. In Canada they have 26 days and in Italy - 42".

56 per cents of Americans visit friends and relatives during their leave. 27 per cents told that they prefer to rest at the lakes or beaches, and 21 per cents would prefer a general sightseeing tour. The vacancies in thematic parks occupied the 7th place with 11%.

Yesawich told that the prices for petrol to bother only in case when the prices for petrol exceed $ 3,5 for 4,4 litres of petrol.
