Spain is a country that has it all: tiny typical white villages and big crowded cities, its own very particular habits and European culture, big mountains and a very long coastline. Briefly, it is not only nice to live in Spain, but it is of course an ideal destination for a vacation. What more to ask for? In spite of this variety, the most demanded holidays, still are the ones on the Spanish coasts. 4000 km to take your pick. From the Costa Brava until Costa de la Luz, without forgetting the Cantabrian coast, there is a large choice of holiday homes to spend unforgettable holidays all year long. People can find accommodation on www.spain-holiday.com starting from cheap small one bedroom apartments until luxury beachfront villas or mansions. Every coast has a special feature, which makes it worth a visit. Costa Brava in Girona, for its annual average temperature of 16 degrees and 2500 hours of sunshine per year. Costa Dorada in South Catalonia, an ideal place to spend a family holiday along the golden beaches of fine sand, wonderful climate all year long and the maximum amount of sunlight during the day. Costa de Azahar, full with monuments and beautiful sites, which have not been spoilt by the hand of man. The most important cities are Castellon de la Plana and Peñiscola to spend your holidays. Costa de Valencia for its location near such a modern and important city, Valencia, seat of America's Cup 2007. Costa Blanca, well-known for the typical holiday locations such as Altea, Benidorm, Moraira and Alicante. You can choose from cosmopolitan cities with bustling nightlife or visit rural areas of the typical Mediterranean countryside. Costa Calida and Mar Menor, which are famous for being therapeutic for people who suffer from rheumatism. There are several summer resorts, such as Mazarron and La Manga. Costa de Almeria has an ideal, mild climate all year long. This coastline covers the contrasted province of Almeria, where you can find long beaches with small coves, high mountains with extensive plains, desert areas and others with varied vegetation. Costa del Sol, together with Costa Blanca still number 1 as holiday destination, with the big airport of Malaga as base to go from Nerja to Estepona. This coast is protected from Northern winds by a mountain chain which can sometimes reach the edge of the sea. This scenery is one of the main attractions, as you can find palm trees as well as cypresses. Costa Tropical with semi-tropical vegetation due to its mild climate, has several sport harbours where you can scuba-dive or fish. Don't forget visiting Granada when staying on Costa Tropical. Costa de la Luz, with its fine, sandy beaches, stretches in an arc from Aymonte to Tarifa, from the mouth of the River Guadiana to Gibraltar. Due to the wind, you can practise several watersports there, such as surfing and bodyboard. Enjoy your holiday on the Spanish coast!
