My name is Kay Chapman and I work for an organisation in Rome that works with agricultural research organisations that assist subsistence farmers in developing countries. It is a not-for-profit institution. Our unit deals specifically with intellectual property.

The reason I am contacting you is that we are currently working on an upgraded version of website and our web designers found online a great photo of a landscape that you took.

Is that an image you own? Can I ask permission to use this image on our website? And, if that is okay with you how should we accredit the photo?

Our site isn’t online yet, but it is very similar in content to our existing site www.cas-ip.org

- the photos would be used a flash header and possibly between text blocks to make the pages more visually appealing.
