Chapter 24 Part 1
Nick: Joe, you're really smart so I hope you understand when I say this, how could you let your girlfriend/ex-girlfriend for this matter, get lost????
Joe: I've got that enough from everyone okay?
Nick: Not from me. (smiles. Joe pushes Nick)
Nick: Don't touch me. (Joe pokes him. Nick pokes Joe back)
Nick: Okay, okay gosh.
Joe: Let's go over here. (they go to one spot & look for Christine. Meanwhile no one's found her yet. Tawnya & Swati trail off into the woods. They kept talking until Swati noticed where they were.)
Swati: Uh....Tawnya?
Tawnya: Yea.
Swati: Where are..(She bumps into something on the floor. She looks down & covers her mouth to stop herself from screaming)
Tawnya: What's wron...(She looks at what Swati was staring at, but she couldn't help but scream.)
Swati: Holy crap?! Who would do this???
Tawnya: (horrified) I don't know but we gotta call them for help!
Swati: Let me see if she's breathing. (She was panicking but she bent down to see if the figure was breathing.) Tawns!!! She's breathing! But just a little. Did you call them?!
Tawnya: No, I don't have reception.
Swati: Okay, ready? 1,2,3 HELP!
Tawnya: Again. 1,2,3. HELP!!! HELP! HELP!! HELP!!! (the guys heard them & followed their voices. They showed up)
Joe: Did you fin...(he looks down at Swati on the ground next to the figure.) Oh my gosh?! (Joe drops to the ground) Christine?!!! I'm so sorry!
Swati: She can'y hear you! She's breathing but just a little bit. (Kevin & everyone look at Christine & they're all basically teary-eyed or horrified)
Nick: Holy geeze!
Selena: Who the heck would do this?!
Swati: We gotta call the premadeics.
Kevin: I'm on it. (Kevin went out of the woods & on to the actual beach, he called the paramedics & they said they'd be there in 5 minutes.)
Joe: We gotta get her onto the beach so the paramedics can take her.
Swati: I cna't touch her! There's too much blood.
Joe: Swati? C'mon it's your best friend.
Swati: Fine. (they pick Christine up & take her on to the actual beach. The peramedics show up & take her to the emergency room. Everyone followed the ambulance to the hospital & sat in the waiting room)
Swati: (pacing back & forth) Joe?! This is all your fault!
Kevin: Swati? C'mon don't blame him for this okay? He's just as upset as you are. (Joe sat in a chair thinking about all the good times him and Christine had. He couldn't lose her now...not ever)
Nick: Swati, let's go get something from the cafeteria. C'mon.
Swati: No, I'm staying here till we hear something. (right then a doctor walks in)
Doctor: Hi I'm Dr. Warren. Christine's surgeon.
Swati: How is she?
Tawnya: She's living right?? Please say yes!
Dr. Warren: Well you guys found her at the right time. She lost a lot of blood, but she's a little stable right now.
Joe: Can we go see her?
Swati: Joe? You're the last person she wants to see.
Kevin: Stop argueing.
Dr. Warren: Yes. But one by one, she's very weak.
Swati: Okay. Thank You. (Instead of listening to the doctor, they all went in at once.)
Swati: Christine? If you can hear me, I love you okay? And I'll stand by your side the entire time. (a tear roles down the side of Swati's cheek. All of a sudden the line on the monitor started to race & the line started to go straight. Jared started to feel dizzy, next thing you know, Jared faints.)
Tawnya: What the heck? Why'd he faint?
Swati: (Panicking & Calling for the nurses from outside) I don't know.
A Nurse: Okay, we need you guys to leave the room. (the nurse shoved them out of the room. One took Jared into a room & took care of him.)
*outside in the waiting room*
Swati: Aw man. I hope she's okay. (praying to God) Oh God. Please let her be okay?
Nick: (going up to Swati & hugging her) Swati? Don't worry, she'll be fine) (He kissed her cheek)
Joe: (Talking to Kevin low enough for Swati to not hear) Ughh...Kevin. I'm so stupid! I Shouldn't have let her walk away!
Kevin: I would make fun of you but this is serious so Joe, don't worry. She'll be fine. Okay?
Tawnya: I hope both Jared & Christine are okay. (Dr. Warren walks in w/a depressed look on his face)
