early 80s Geraldo show where a fight breaks out and G gets his nose cracked by some fat dude who threw a chair. funny thing about this clip is if you follow Geraldo (rite side of screen) he actually catches fat boy, stops a take down attempt and then gets in a few good hooks and a rite cross before they fall out of camera view (i guess the puerto rican in him came out). i'm pretty sure this was the first time anything like this had happened on day time tv. it opened up the floodgates for the jerry springers and similar shows to be successful,eventually leading to the creation of the reality show boom. thanks Geraldo. SIDE NOTE--- roy innis the black guy that got the fight started also got into a scrap with al sharpton on the morton downey show some years later.
