WILD COYOTE PACK APPROACHES RARE, WILD, WHITE (PIEBALD) WHITETAIL

Another view of WILD WOLF-LIKE COYOTE PACK EYE BIG BUCKS, WHITE DEER, POSSUM at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6-KgLz2QCg VERY RARE VIEW -- A pack of coyotes, several groups of bucks, a white deer, and an opossum all in the same field at once! These coyotes looked huge and very large coyotes have been found here. The pack was looking and headed toward the white deer when they disappeared over a ridge. At the Edge of Night - the woods and fields are full of life when no human eye sees. In one field on one night, I photographed a pack of at least 3 huge wolf-like coyotes, several big buck deer, one white deer, and one opossum. There was still a little daylight when I began taping the deer. Two or three big bucks were initially there. One had a broken antler. Several other groups of large bucks appeared when it was darker. At least one buck appeared to have 10-point antlers. After I taped the first set of deer, I noticed the coyotes. They were hunting for voles, mice, and other rodents. They were nervous about my presence, but they know humans can't see at night and continued hunting while watching me. I was using infrared and night vision. These coyotes appeared to be quite large compared to the height of the remnant hay in the field. The only adult coyote killed on our farm weighed 60 pounds and some look larger. When the coyotes disappeared, they were looking in the direction of and heading toward the white deer (there may have been others with it but darker deer didn't show up that far away). When I swung the camera in the direction the coyotes had gone, it caught a glimpse of a white animal. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was there and noticed it only when I played back the video, so I didn't try for a better picture. The only white animal we knew of on this farm was a white deer. I am pretty sure that it was a white deer, because I passed by there when I entered the field and didn't see anything and also because a white deer stayed there. I have taken daytime photographs of the white deer in the same field -- in one recording, I first spotted it in almost that same spot. In the following video all the recordings of the white deer were made in that field: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tArW4... A view of a white deer in a nearby field is shown at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wilKE7... This coyote pack has howled at me when I was alone in this and nearby dark fields at night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLPO8A... Altogether, I was there for over two hours. I cut the tape extensively to get it to 10 minutes. Another problem was that the field was large and all the animals were not in the same place at the same time. Thus, I could not get coyotes and deer in the same shot, although the deer were where the coyotes had been, etc., during different parts of the film. Also only two coyotes would be out at once (when one went into the woods another came out, so I didn't get all the coyotes at once). I tried another edit of the tape: WILD COYOTE PACK APPROACHES WILD WHITE DEER http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLJmzj... It was amazing to see so many animals all at once. I have the original unaltered tape and may try for a better edit. Editing suggestions would be appreciated. Coyotes can run at speeds up to 43 mph and can jump over 4 meters. It runs with its tail down. Some coyotes found in the east can weight over 100 lbs (see http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache:WN3D-Pm0RMAJ:icwdm.org/wildlife/coyotes.asp+%22Black%22+%22coyote%22&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=5&gl=us). Comments and videos show these monster coyotes, e.g. see the discussion under, "Coyote attack," at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT6sePYyeL0. (Possibly some are hybrids.) Coyotes rarely attack humans (but the frequency is much less than attacks by domestic dogs) and the coyotes are often provoked.
