She is a professional Japanese Aroma & Spa Massagist & Therapist. Shoko is looking for some hints to improve her skills from the traditional Balinese Spa Treatments. She was much moved with the most fascinating experiences with the Balinese people, nature, arts, music, dances and above all, with various exotic scenes in everywhere around! Ubud for her is the most mysterious and impressive in its beautiful and serene nature. Many small but lovely cottages became her most favorite retreat in Bali. The traditional Balinese massage salons were also quite unique to her let alone its extended services and quite reasonable prices. Highland areas such as Mt. Batur and Bedugul areas were also soothing her heated skins well and loved the cottages decorated with traditional Balinese embroidery pictures hanging on the wall! Hotels in Bali, Above all, Bali Hyatt was so beautiful with many gardens full of flowers and tropical trees housing many birds and little animals like squerals. Some other cottages like Hotel Puri Sanur, Hotel Puri Raja and Alam Kul Kul were also peaceful and all staffs were very friendly and felt as is she was in some village of Bali. Beaches were also so picturesque. Shoko loved the Sanur Beach and its promnade and the scenery from the beach was just like a picture. Mt. Agung in the far horizen was so magnificient to look at. Tasting the notorious? fruit, Durian was also quite impressive but loved it at all. It sounded as if she was eating the Japanese o-daifuku cake. Jack-fruit, locally called as NANKA was also tasty with some interesting taste, which is rather difficult to tell by letters.... Wishing to be in Bali sometime soon again, and will make it in the near future to explore more about Bali.
