The LAUNCH: Tasks 1-5
It's here, finally. And thanks to YouTube being randomly slow and down all day, Oh, and me working, It's late. It's still July 30th here though! Anyway, Here's an explanation finally about what GeeQtv actually is.
So I turned 25 today. And over the past while now I've been doing not much more than working, sleeping, eating and browsing the net. So I (along with some friends) decided it's time to do something about it. Over the next 365 days, I'll be taking on 25 different tasks, with which to edit, change and rearrange the way I live. This week I'll be introducing those tasks to you 5 at a time Monday through Friday.
Todays Task Intros:
Socialize.
Attend 25 parties and/or events in Oahu. These will include concerts, block parties, parades, fairs, carnivals, shows, and other events throughout the year.
Date.
Convince 25 (or less) women to go on 25 (or more) dates with me over the next year. Oh, and let me film them and put the videos all over the interwebs...
Entertain.
Put my imagination where my camera is. Write, edit, and share 25 short films from any genre or type, over the next year.
Help.
Participate in 25 different community service and/or charity events within my community. Information about these events will be shared early so that those who would like to contribute can help out. (see below for more info about the first event)
Interview
Track down and pop a 25 question interview on 25 different celebs. They can be local celebs or national... or even international if I can get close enough. 21 questions will be baseline for everyone, and the other 4 will be random quirky questions for the specific interviewee.
About the first Help event.
August 11th, 2007, I'll be participating in the "Bowling for Kid's Sake" event at Aiea Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. The event will raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
What is Bowl for Kids' Sake?
Bowl for Kids' Sake is about having fun to help kids. It is our most important fundraising event. Funds raised go directly toward matching children with carefully-screened, caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers.
You can be a sponsor, a bowler, or both!
