Entertainment reporter Tim Estiloz went on location to Springfield VT for the "Yellow" Carpet" World Premiere of "The Simpsons Movie" in Springfield, VT. This small New England town won a competition over 13 other "Springfield" towns and cities in the USA... to host the World Premiere of this much anticipated movie. The event was huge for this normally small town of 9000 people. The video covers the event, showing all the excitement by the 3000 fans and media who arrived from around the world to attend. Estiloz interviews Simpsons creator Matt Groening on the carpet before the screening; as well as Simpson movie executive producer and Oscar winning director, James Brooks and other producers involved in this film. This video also includes clips from the film... and puts all Simpsons fans right in the thick of this event that was the film's world premiere - and FIRST public showing, in this tiny New England town.
