Ingrid Rivera Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2008 NBC Today Show
11/28/07 Interview with Ingrid Marie Rivera in the "Today" show on NBC. The make-up and dress of the beauty queen from Puerto Rico was sprayed with pepper spray the night of the preliminary competition of the national beauty pageant. The beauty queen broke out in hives after the event. There is currently an ongoing investigation to find out who committed such a malicious act against her. It is believed it was done by one of her competitors in the pageant due to jealousy and envy. The queen still managed to win the Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant and will compete in Miss Universe 2008 live from Vietnam next July.
