A Jobromance ~Chapter 12~




Here's Chapter 12! Hope you like it.:) it's the part with Callie finally :P In front of Bridgette's apartment around 10:00am ??: "Callie? Is that you?" Callie: (turns around quickly. She recognized the voice) "Nick?( her eyes widen) What are you doing here?" Nick: "I live literally two streets down. I went for a walk to clear my head..." (he looked upset) Callie: "oh." (she knew she shouldn't, but she had to ask. He just looked so SAD) "what's wrong?" Nick: "Well, I just broke up with Miley this morning..." Callie: (heart skipped a beat.) (thinking to herself) "why was it doing that?" Nick: (looks down) "It turns out you were right about her." Callie: (still doesn't know what to say, so she's just silent) Nick: (notices the posters in the recycling) "Look. I know you probably hate me, and you have every reason to, but, I really truly am sorry." Callie: (looks down, her cheeks flush) "It's okay. I'm just glad you ended it. Are you okay though?" Nick: "yeah. But I really want to make last night up to you." Callie: "Nick, you don't have to—" Nick: "Are you hungry? Cause I know a really good breakfast place a couple blocks down from here." Callie: "now?" Nick: "yeah, come on. My treat" (smiles) Callie: "Sure." Nick: "By the way, I like your shoes." Callie: (looks down and realizes they are both wearing green converse) "yours aren't so bad either" (smiles and looks up at Nick's eyes) Nick: "you have really pretty eyes" Callie: (blushes) "thanks." Nick: "okay, let's go!" (they start walking down the street when Nick hear someone behind him) Nick: "uh oh, the paparazzi! Quick, over here!" (he grabbed Callie's hand and they started running down the street. All Callie could think about was that Nick was touching her hand. {AN: haha}) Paparazzi: (yelling and taking pictures as he chases them) "Nick! (click) Over here! (click) Is that you're new girl? (click) Already? (click) What's her name? (click) Smile over here sweetheart, you're going to be all over the front page!" (click, click, click) (Nick and Callie are still running down the street and they turn a corner, avoiding the paparazzi.) Nick: "The good news is we lost him." Callie: "and the bad news?" Nick: "he got a bunch of pictures of us. And if I know those trashy magazines, having a picture together for them means we're dating. And right after I break up with Miley. This isn't what I need right now! I—" Callie: "Uh, Nick? You're still holding my hand." Nick: "What? (looks down at their hands) "Oh." (mumbles) "sorry." (pulls away) Callie: (smiles) "I wasn't complaining." Nick: (smiles) "The restaurant's just down here." (they walk in) Nick: (to the guy at the restaurant) "Hey, can I get a table for two? Preferably one in the back." Host: {AN: is that what you call the person who seats you? Idk} "sure, follow me" (leads them to a table and Nick and Callie sit down. they decide what to order and tell the waiter) Callie: "Is your life always this exciting?" Nick: "most of the time, yeah it is. I mean, if we're not performing, we're doing an interview. If we're not doing an interview, we're at a photo shoot. And the paparazzi follows us EVERYWHERE! It gets a little crazy. Sometimes its just nice to get away from it all, you know?" Callie: "yeah. I can see how that would be a lot to deal with." Nick: "But its nice to have someone to talk to" (smiles at Callie) Callie: "ya, I'm glad we're friends." Nick: (thinking) Only friends? (in normal voice) "me too." (smiles weakly) what will happen between nick and callie? what about with joe and bridgette, who he thinks is sidney? and what about kevin and sidney?? find out in chapter 13, to be posted when this reaches 75 views. thanks guys:)
