Blue Angels #7 - My flight
In July of 2000, I was fortunate enough to be selected to fly with the Blue Angels in FA/18 #7, the only two seater in the squadron. The Angels select members of the media for these flights to assist in their recruiting mission. For about 10 minutes in the middle of the flight, I got to fly the FA/18 and do several stunts. In fact, I was the pilot during the loop scene in the middle of the video.
