Epiphone Dot/GFS Vintage 59 pickups
Playing Epiphone dot,same amp/settings only now with GFS vintage 59 pickups installed for comparison to the stock epi pickups.Since making this sample video I have got the bridge pickup to go up higher closer to the strings.When I first installed the gfs bridge pickup,it did not go up as high or high enough as the stock epis pickups did.I found that this was due to the springs in the gfs pickup would not compress enough or as much as the stock epi pickups.This is why the bridge pickup volume and sound in this video is weak.I since swapped the springs from the epi pickups to the gfs and not the bridge pickup goes up high enough,so it has been remedied since this video.But that is why the bridge pickup sounds weak and quieter in this vid.Email me if any questions or comments.
