Putin to clinch trade deals in Libya

In one of his last foreign trips as Russian President, Vladimir Putin is heading for Libya to meet the country's leader Muammar Gaddafi. It will be the first visit to the oil-rich African country by a Russian head of state. Russia and Libya have mutual interests in oil and military technologies.
