WTC June visit 2001
On June 10, 2001, we were in New York City on business. Later in the afternoon we went to Wall Street, intent on taking the NY Stock Exchange tour. But we got there too late to get tickets, so instead we decided to go to the top of the World Trade Center, tower 2. It was a pretty quiet day, but it was also gorgeous, as can be seen from the video. I let it drag on until tower 1 comes into view. These views are no longer available, especially looking uptown, beyond the Empire State Building, and beyond. At the time it was taken for granted, but only 3 months later they were gone. I wish I had filmed the personnel manning the building, because to this day I wonder how they fared.
